The President's Cup is the name given to the main internal Club Championship competition. It is organised as a six round swiss system tournament with designated club nights set aside for playing games. These games are long-play at a rate of 35 moves in 75 minutes with adjournment at the end of the evening, if necessary. The games played in this competition are graded and count towards a member's English Chess Federation grade.
